J.J. Bad Boy Jones...Blues Legend
         (J.J. passed away on Mon. Jan. 19, 2004)
....in this picture... J.J. Bad Boy Jones  is playing the Blues with
"Big Harmonica Bob and the Blues All Stars " at Martini Blues on May 17th 2003

   J.J. Bad Boy Jones was a native of Baton Rouge Louisiana...he came to Los Angeles in 1959.....he  played the guitar since before
there were amplifiers!   He was a hard working truck driver from the
age of 16. .

   This blues legend  played with many real deal people in the
past.... Willie Dixon,  Albert Collins,  Albert King, SRV, and many many
more....
   
J.J. was a real nice guy too.  He just loved the Blues!

J.J. was the cousin of Eddie Jones...the famous "Guitar Slim" who had
a giant hit many years ago ...."The things I used to do"
 
    As Recent as  2003 J.J. Bad Boy Jones ran a fine blues show at the
"Gas Lite" in Santa Monica.
 
    A real Pro Blues Jam with  J.J. Bad Boy Jones and the Bad Boys.

   passed away on Monday Jan. 19, 2004
            He will be missed by all of his family and  friends...
                                   He was one of the Greats!
                   A Real Gentleman, and a great blues musician.
