Big Harmonica Bob and The Blues All Stars ...Bring You the Blues!
E mail me if you would like one for your show or personal use....or order one
below by clicking on the Picture. Thanks
This C.D. is already doing well in the Blues World!
What's the Deal?
This is a collection of the best performances done by this band from the last year.
It features Blues Legend J J Bad Boy Jones on many of the tracks.
Every recording is "Live" except the original song "Fifty Bucks". On this song Big Harmonica Bob plays every instrument. Why not? Oh well..
"Big Harmonica Bob's Boogie" is included... that song has been played all over
the World since April of 2003. It was done "hot" with no overdubs.
Some History
This C.D. has been requested by some pretty cool people and places ...
It is soon to be reviewed by Crossroads magazine in France.
P. Redondo asked for a copy for his collection and to review.
J. C. Mondo of "BLUESBOARDER" magazine in Belgium has requested a copy of this C. D. . He has had his own Radio Show for over twenty years.
C. D. reviewer and blues fan John Bates from
Queensland Autralia asked for a copy of this C.D.. He does extensive blues
promotion and work in his neck of the woods in the Land Down Under.
At Home here in the U S A ...
We were just recorded by " INSIDE JAZZ"... from the Blue Cafe in Long Beach
... doing many of the same songs on the C.D.. ... and others.
This Band is also featured on a C. D. recorded from the T.V. show
"Senior Heroes of America". The C.D. is titled "A Lifetime of The Blues"
and features J J Bad Boy Jones at his last known recorded concert before
his death in Jan. of 2004.
That C.D. is in rotation on WGLT in Illinois. Thanks to DELTA FRANK.
Delta Frank has a show called "The Blues Blowtorch"
" A Lifetime of The Blues" is also played regularly by
Bill Wagner of "Confessin ' The Blues" show in Lincoln , Nebraska.
Bill keeps the Blues Alive in his part of the World too!
Review ... From "Blues in Britain" Magazine
C.D.... "Big Harmonica Bob and The Blues All Stars ...
Bring You the Blues!"
" Big Harmonica Bob, backed by an eight piece band, the Blues All Stars, delivers
a no-nonsense set of mainly Chicago based blues exemplified by "Fifty Bucks",
a lowdown shuffle replete with downhome harp, simple (but right) guitar
and laconic vocals"
"Big Harmonica Bob's Boogie" with it's swinging guitar and rock 'n' roll sax
allows Bob to stretch out .... on .. harp.
"Walkin' to My Baby' is another vibrant shuffle, whilst "Scratch My Back" is
given a downhome treatment, replete with high register harp, tantalizing guitar,
baying horns and half whispered vocals.
" Three of the tracks on this set feature the late J J Bad Boy Jones delivering his
typically raw and uncompromising blues accoompanied by Big Bob and The
All Stars. " Five Long Years" with it's strident guitar, wailing harp and inherent
sense of menace is tailor made for Jones' deep and raw blues vocals whilst
on 'Smokestack Lightnin' he captures the brroding intensity that Wolf brought
to this classic, whilst Big Bob's harp weaves a web of the deepest blue in and
around the familiar riff."

Grandma said " Self Praise Stinks" so... I will stop right here.
